Contended dispute in the NYT : Europe V America | |
Was posted as: "Helping us Americans understand why Belgians are
relaxed, and contending that is authomatically a loser" I am leaving the ambiguit about 'contending' as they wanted; than I only ment that relaxed presentation does not entitle the commentary in the NYT what that means economically, but it come down as I will not even succede in this 'help' . I am reposting edited now post stollen before editing and masacred on purpose presenting me poorly (my 'alter egos' do not care abot these in EU and USA, I am sure) Post starts here: Sample:as they have so many schools in English; I will first be critical if they are also wrong in something major before I throw it in here, but this one alone does: 1. breaks the barier between Anglo-Saxons and Continentals for good 2. makes people comfortable around others due to tremendous international exposure even without travelling all these 65 countries. Belgium is so small that can expose that the effects of such school in the small country are different than even the Wison Schools of International Studies in USA. I imagine that each scholars in Belgium get to know and or exchange science with some of the most motivated scholars around the world. ( I suspect that when they sit down they do not tense up becouse others are that different to them; other reasons being even more powerful) I travelled but now I get the intellectuals from around the world especially both Eu and Conmtnentals stop by at THE R ......... ( HERE THE POWERFUL ON MY INTERNET LINE STOLE THE POST AND DID NOT ALLOW EDITING WHILE POSTING IT; PLEASE EXTRAPOLATE - IT IS EASY) Sample of Belgian School here: "BRUSSELS SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES Boulevard de la Plaine 5 B-1050 Brussels Tel: 02/641.17.21 Fax : 02/641 1720 E-mail: b...@kent.ac.uk Website: www.kent.ac.uk/brussels The University of Kent's Brussels School of International Studies (BSIS) is a specialised postgraduate school offering advanced international studies in Brussels, Belgium.
