Raúl receives Brazilian minister of development, industry and foreign trade

IN the afternoon of Thursday, July 9th, President Raúl Castro Ruz had a
friendly meeting with Mr. Miguel Jorge, Brazilian minister of development,
industry and foreign trade who, at the head of a large trade delegation from
that sister nation, had undertaken an intense program of activities with
diverse Cuban organizations and institutions with the aim of promoting the
development of bilateral cooperation.

Also participating were Vice Presidents of the Council of Ministers Ricardo
Cabrisas Ruiz and Jorge Luis Sierra Cruz, and Mr. Bernardo Pericás, the
Brazilian ambassador in Cuba, and Mr. Reginaldo Arcuri, president of the
Brazilian Industrial Development Agency.
