Putin Pours Cold Water on Two Fires and One Critic

Video shot late last month gives a sense of the intensity of the
wildfires still burning in Russia during the country’s worst heat wave
in more than a century.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin of Russia tried his hand at
firefighting, sitting at the controls of a plane that dumped water on
two wildfires in central Russia.

BUT THESE FIRES ARE NONONIZED - NUKE BASED;

WHAT IS  WRONG - PUTIN IS A SPECIALIST HOW TO CLEAN SUCH NUCLEAR

ANY ADVERSITY WITH PUTING NOW AS I DO NOT HOLD OVER THAT MUCH; BUT I
WANDER IF HE IS YTRYTING ONE MORE TIME TO DENY POLISH CAUSE IN THAT
FIRE TOO - THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN POLISH TERRITORY THEM WITH POLISH
GRAVES ( TO BE CHECKED).

ONE FOR SURE - PUTIN WOULKD HAVE CLEAN THE SMOKE IF HE WANTED - HE IS
QUITE RESORCEFULL.

Mr. Putin’s hands-on approach to combating the deadly fires, which
have threatened Russian nuclear facilities, came just days after he
personally responded to criticism from Russian bloggers of his
government’s handling of the crisis.

The government news agency RIA Novosti reported that Mr. Putin’s photo-
op in  Ryazan, the Russian province, was a productive one:

The Russian head of government was the co-pilot for half an hour
aboard a Be-200 plane scooping up water from the nearby Oka River and
dumping it on raging forest fires some 200 kilometers [125 miles]
southeast of Moscow. He dumped approximately 12 tons of water on each
of two fires, extinguishing both completely.

WATER WOULD HAVE PRODUCE SMOKE; WHATE THE PROBLEM WITH CUTTING OF O2

crew was on hand to supply this footage of his firefighting stint to
the Kremlin-financed satellite channel Russia Today:

Last week, Mr. Putin aggressively countered criticism of his
government in a reply to an outraged Russian blogger’s screed about
the dismal state of firefighting in one small town that had been
forwarded to the prime minister by an independent radio station, Ekho
Moskvy.

BUT PUTTIN IS NOT A PRESIDENT THERE - WHAT SI GOING ON ?

As the BBC reported, the station “had challenged Mr. Putin to reply to
the blog entry, which it selected as an example of anger among
Russians over the state’s inability to control the wildfires.” In a
note to Mr. Putin accompanying the complete text of the blogger’s
post, the radio station’s editor in chief, Alexei Venediktov, wrote,
“Nobody will tell you this to your face, of course, but the Internet
is full of criticism and discontent.” He then asked the “Esteemed
Vladimir Vladimirovich,” to tell the public, “What would you say to
this man?”

According to Russia Today, Mr. Putin’s response to the blogger, in a
hand-written letter dripping with sarcasm, began: “At the end of the
workday, breathing in the smoke from the burning fires like all
Muscovites are doing, I — with great interest and pleasure —
acquainted myself with your evaluation of the situation.”
