Furious charity pulls Calais camp funding after 'migrants BURN food and clothes'
A CHARITY has stopped providing aid to the Calais 'jungle' because aid workers have concluded the majority of migrants in the camp do not need to be there. However, the charity decided to pull the plug after its deputy chief executive Kassim Tokan recently paid a visit to Calais. Mr Tokan added the HRF will now turn its attention to helping Syrians trapped in neighbouring Labanon and Jordan, claiming migrants at Calais no longer need the help. Reply +5 SmujsmithNEW19 minutes ago If France had a government that actually governed these welfare tourists would be told to either claim asylum or be returned back to where they came from, and the right continent will be satisfactory if they won't admit their country of origin. Unfortunately, like Britain, France is served by EU lickspittle politicians who believe that welfare tourists have more rights than any native population. Out of the EU is the only way to stop this mad importation of half the planet. Reply +8 Pig SickNEW19 minutes ago So now it's official!, what most of us have known for ages. Wonderful!! Now break up the camp(s) and send them all back - at gunpoint if neccessary. Reply +9 MaybelleNEW20 minutes ago This just proves what most people thought all along. Reply +7 SaveDemocracyNEW26 minutes ago Poor old Bob Geldof, Yvette Cooper and Nicola Sturgeon (oh, wait a minute, she's now changed her mind hasn't she?) To be hailed as 'caring' and to make some quick political capital, people like these all offered their homes to these so-called 'desperate refugees' withjout thinking that more than 80% of them are simply economic migrants, criminals or terrorists. Do they now know what the rest of the country knew months ago? How are they going to wriggle out of their offer? Reply +11 Sahara81NEW31 minutes ago So, knowing theyve been taken up the garden path with one lot, they start with another bunch of scroungers. Theyll never learn, will they. Whatever is wrong with these lunatic do gooders??? Reply +11 davesmithNEW37 minutes ago You get an old ship, you round them up and then you send them back. You arrest anyone else trying to set up camp. It's not too hard to work out. Oh, it was the penny dropping. About time - it was hanging there long enough ! Now send them home. Reply +8 basilbrushNEW41 minutes ago Well we have been saying this for ages, yet the Government has done what, put a few pieces of wire up & follows the EU like sheep on their last legs! Our reaction to this by the British public is a DISGRACE! You sit on your backside and do NOTHING literally NOTHING. You are your own worse enemies by keeping this thing called Cameron in power, he is a TRAITOROUS PM point out. He does not care about Great Britain or its people, ONLY himself and his personal agenda and that of the EU. GET RID OF HIM NOW, NOW, NOW!! Take your Country back and Govern yourselves, you were doing better out of the EU than you have ever done or will do whilst you stay in it!! Reply 1 reply +8 joanrichNEW14 minutes ago What a good comment very well said Reply +3 quizqueenNEW44 minutes ago Haven't people in the UK been saying this for years. The whole Calais lot need deporting and the camps torn down. Instead of spending money on useless fences which can easily be cut or pulled down they should have been electrified. Here's looking forward to a wet and cold winter. Sign the NEW petition to stop the government preventing people by law from expressing 'extremist' views, which although sounds good on the surface, will actually stop Christian free speech too. Reply +13 AlfredGreatNEW1 hour ago I never donate to most charities . The money they pay their executives sickens me. The so called African children's charities, which are begging for support on television , around tea time , are the worst. Much of the money donated by naive, well meaning individuals is going straight into the pockets of African dictators.Very little, if any, gets where it is needed. They should be offering sterilisation kits to these people. That would help them the most. Reply +16 FHW13NEW1 hour ago It's charities like these that encourage immigrants to try and reach Europe.. If they didn't roll out the "welcome" mat so willingly then maybe these people would get the message that life isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. Reply +15 FHW13NEW1 hour ago Immigrants were provided with council houses not far from where I live about a year ago, and they set fire to them! I passed a group of foreigners who had all stopped and were pointing at a row of well kept private houses alongside the main road and they stopped a passer by to question him. As he caught up with me, the man smiled ruefully and shook his head saying "They want to know how they can apply to live in one of these houses!" They are hoping to build enough to form a " bridge" and have already spent over 20000 Euros so far. Talk about ridiculous. These immigrants that they intend to help are not fleeing warclike Syrians. These are the young, fit economic refugees who are determined to reach the UK for their freebies. They will be no problem to countries such as Austria as they are just passing through !!!!. Also, whilst we were there we saw many of these immigrants hanging around Salzburg station where the red cross had erected a big tent.Again they were fit, young men who seemed to be sitting around oggling the local young girls. These countries should be sending these people back to where they belong, not helping them to reach our shores. Reply 2 replies +18 VictorCowenNEW1 hour ago No comment see my post above.
